Terms of Service

Welcome to MemeHub! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MemeHub website (Memehub.in) and the MemeHub Android application (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MemeHub. By creating an account or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. User Accounts

  • Account Creation: To access certain features (like uploading memes, commenting, or saving content), you must create an account. You can register via email or third-party social logins (e.g., Google, Discord).
  • Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or ban your account at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms (e.g., posting illegal content, spamming, or harassment).

3. User-Generated Content (UGC)

MemeHub allows you to upload, share, and interact with memes, videos, and images ("Content").

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of the Content you upload. However, by uploading Content to MemeHub, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such Content across our Platform.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your Content. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload the Content.
  • Prohibited Content: You agree not to post Content that:
    • Infringes on any third party's copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
    • Is strictly NSFW (Not Safe For Work), sexually explicit, or pornographic.
    • Promotes hate speech, harassment, bullying, or violence.
    • Contains malicious code, viruses, or spam.
  • Moderation: We have the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, flag, hide, or delete any Content that we determine violates these Terms. Users can also report Content for review by our moderation team.

4. Prohibited Activities

When using MemeHub, you agree not to:

  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform.
  • Artificially manipulate view counts, download counts, likes, or followers.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the security, servers, or networks connected to the Platform.
  • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

5. Monetization and Advertising

MemeHub is a free platform. To support our operations, we display advertisements.

  • Website: We use Google AdSense on Memehub.in.
  • Mobile App: We use Google AdMob in our Android application.
  • By using the Platform, you agree to the placement of these targeted advertisements. Ad blockers may interfere with the functionality of the Platform.

6. Intellectual Property

Except for User-Generated Content, all other elements of the Platform (including text, graphics, logos, app design, and software) are the property of MemeHub or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

MemeHub is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, either express or implied, about the reliability, accuracy, security, or availability of the Platform. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MemeHub and its administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Platform or any Content provided by other users.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by MemeHub. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. By continuing to access or use the Platform after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
