The Perry the Platypus Plumber meme is a perfect example of the "agent of chaos" archetype. It takes the stoic, secret agent platypus from Phineas and Ferb and drops him into the mundane world of home repair.
The joke is all about the contrast. You expect Perry to be fighting Dr. Doofenshmirtz, but instead he's fixing a leaky sink with a plunger. The humor comes from his deadpan expression while doing such a normal job. It works best when you pair his serious face with a silly or overly complicated plumbing problem.
To use the template, just caption it with a mundane issue that Perry is handling with extreme professionalism. It's great for reacting to everyday problems with an overly serious tone. The format is super versatile for any "this is fine" or "expectations vs. reality" situation.
